Welcome to the very first Whimsical Charm Story Time, a new corner of Whimsical Charm where we'll be opening the doors to our creative world and inviting you behind the scenes.
Whimsical Charm has always been about more than beautiful and unusual things. We love the stories behind them: the folklore that sparks an idea, the forgotten crafts that deserve another chapter, the strange little creatures that wander into our sketchbooks, and those wonderful "What if...?" moments that can turn a scribble on a page into an entire imaginary world.
Story Time is where we'll share that journey with you.
What is Whimsical Charm Story Time?
Story Time will be our creative journal, part behind-the-scenes diary, part curiosity cabinet and part storytelling space.
We'll share glimpses of ideas as they grow, from their earliest sketches and scribbled notes to character designs, illustrations, handmade creations and finished collections.
Along the way, you might discover:

Not everything you see here will be finished.
In fact, that's rather the point.
We want Story Time to show the creative process as it really happens: ideas change, sketches evolve, experiments occasionally go spectacularly wonky, and sometimes a tiny idea becomes something much bigger than we ever expected.
Behind the Scenes: Something is Stirring...
For our first Story Time, we've been working on something rather ambitious.
Behind the scenes, an old castle has slowly begun to emerge from the darkness.
Its name is Gothicana Castle.
Gothicana is one of the Whimsical Worlds currently being developed, a mysterious Gothic world filled with hidden rooms, unusual inhabitants, moonlit gardens, old crafts, curious wildlife and secrets waiting to be uncovered.
We've been developing everything from the architecture and visual identity of the castle to its stories, characters and interactive elements.
And one particularly important object has recently been taking shape...
The Explorer Passport
Visitors to the Whimsical Worlds won't simply watch their stories unfold. We want them to explore them.
The Explorer Passport is being designed as a record of those adventures, allowing Explorers to document the worlds they've visited, discoveries they've made, equipment they've acquired and the nature and heritage knowledge they've uncovered along the way.
What you're seeing in our behind-the-scenes images is part of that development process.
Some things may change.
Some things may disappear.
And some apparently insignificant little details might turn out to be rather important later...
We couldn't possibly say. 🔎
This is Only the Beginning
Gothicana is just one doorway.
Over time, Story Time will venture into other Whimsical Worlds, introduce some of the characters who inhabit them, explore the real history, nature and traditional crafts that inspire our creations, and document the slightly chaotic process of turning imagination into something you can actually see, hold and experience.
So consider this your invitation.
Pull up a chair, bring your curiosity and join us for Whimsical Charm Story Time.
